Information and Data Redundancy of my personal data..

I was just looking for douche baggy named title :P

But anyway here it is .

Let us take a simple action of me tweeting about something

My Twitter account was linked to my Facebook account and my LinkedIn account (now I have removed it).

So a single tweet would appear in three places. Now if someone happens to comment on my twitter message in facebook , My iTouch (if in wifi zone)will make a beep sound and show me the comment because of facebook app , where this information may be locally saved for some time and possibly even on cloud .

Further more , I would get an email in mailbox saying person 'abc' has commented on your status .

Now the mail goes to my mailbox 'y' which is configured on my android powered cell phone and so every time I get an email in my mailbox 'y', my phone will start making noise .

Now the thing is , my cell phone is one of those cheapo phone so sometimes by accident I end up deleting mail while just browsing it . So I configured my mailbox 'y' to automatically forward mails to mailbox 'z' so that a copy of mail would be preserved no matter what.

Now my mailbox 'z' is again configured on my itouch so it will again beep and store local copy of the mail.

In summary ,Writing one tweet can cause me to react to 4 sounds ,check 2 mail boxes on 2 different devices , see comment(s) on one of them and go to 3rd device (laptop) to reply to it ( cause of my aversion to typing on itouch ).

I guess its not as weird as I thought it was .
